I have stopped at this airport a few times now on my way between Kansas and south Florida. Usually the least expensive fuel in the area, and the fuel price is always the same as posted on AirNav. I have never seen another human soul on this airport, let alone another aircraft. The runway is in acceptable condition. If you are a man you can sneak around the backside of the fuel tank or hangar to use the "facilities", otherwise I don't know what a lady would do. On landing be advised that the wind abruptly abates as soon as you dip below the trees. On departure the trees look intimidating but aren't too bad. If you are looking for an inexpensive and quick fuel stop this is the place to go.

'Unattended' is an overstatement. Runway is in shabby condition, 24-hour self-serve dispensed exactly $50 and quit, couldn't be persuaded to dispense another drop, no restroom. Desperate, I crawled under a barbed wire fence and knocked on a neighbor's door. Ed, a retiree with a live-in hangar full of airplane pieces was most hospitable, as was his elderly dog. The 11 gallons got me all the way to my destination and its much more expensive gas. Next time I'll stop at nearby Eufaula, where I KNOW I'll get a top-off-- and a more accessible restroom.
