Evidently hunting is allowed on airport property. Hunters and their vehicle were at the approach end of Rwy 4 this morning. On my landing roll-out a large "spooked" doe ran across the runway in front of my aircraft from the direction of the hunters -- at least I was able to brake effectively to avoid a collision with the animal.
