We did a quick stop. Very nice, new Self-serve fueling facility. Even though it was mid-day, mid-week the facility was locked. However a call to the posted number got me a quick answer from the manager who was snowed in at home and watching us on the security camera. He was very helpful and friendly, answering numerous questions. Overall, good stop and we'll be back.

I flew into Martin Campbell over Thanksgiving to visit my folks. (It's a great little airport in an out of the way location, btw.) All the recent upgrades really show. I landed from a peerless sky, taxied to the fuel pit, and proceeded to fill 'er up with gas prices as good as any in the area. The local crew, came out immediately to assist, and offered me the use of a mini-tug to move the plane over to a transient spot for the holiday. This saved me either asking my Mom and Dad to help me push, or trying to 'hot start' that IO-540 for a 75 yrd taxi. They've done renovation to the interior of the FBO too. It's much more tidy than in times past. All in all, a very pleasant experience and I look forward to the next visit home. Happy Holidays and keep up the good work, Hans!

Wow, what a great experience. The airport has gone through some vast improvements since our last visit. New runway surface, cleared trees, new T hangar, and the best of all...Self serve fuel is now available. Oh yeah, and did I mention cheapest fuel prices in the area! Alan was such a pleasure to visit with, and was extremely helpful. We will definitely make this trip down to Martin Campbell Field again in the near future.

Took a trip up to North Georgia to go rafting and found Campbell Field to be closest to our destination. What a great little airport! Runway looked newly paved, and all new fuel station on site. Alan at the FBO was absolutely incredible! I was having a battery issue with the plane and he waited until way after hours just to make sure I was able to get on my way. Can't ask for anything more. Will be going back next time in the area.

Perfect little county airport with excellent fuel prices. We fly in here from Fort Lauderdale when we stay at Georgia Vacation Rental by Owner Listing 134668 (only 6 miles away).

For the first time since 1946 the Martin Campbell Field now has self-service, 100LL fuel available at the lowest price in a 50-mile radius. They have new hangars available as well. You can also avoid annual property tax in Tennessee! Fly in for a day or week of whitewater rafting on the Ocoee and Nantahala Rivers or stay in a mountain cabin for a romantic getaway.
