Nice facility maintained by the State Park. Call to the Lodge and they'll come pick you up. Great lunch at the Lodge restaurant with a good view of the lake.

They are out of 100LL and didn't know when or if they would be getting more.

No one there when we rolled up. But the attendant came before we could use the phone to call. Excellent service and nice facilities. They have a self-service pump, but as of 5/31/07, it wasn't working.

Very nice facilities. Super friendly and helpful staff. But, no taxi service, and Enterprise car rental is only available Mon-Fri. David now lives at the airport and is a very friendly & helpful gentleman.

Another great flight to Lake Barkley State Park! The airport is just not the same being unattended, but one phone call to the lodge gets a friendly driver who delivers you and yours to the lodge, a beautiful place, and GREAT food. If you need fuel, taxi to the self-serve fuel. And the restrooms are clean if you need to go potty while waiting on your ride to the lodge. Just dial "0" on the house phone. We hope to be back again soon.

The front desk came to get us for the fabulous lunch buffet after 2-hour flight. They then drove us to the campground where we pitched tent. Lacy Wallis is a gem of knowledge and help at the campground. easy hike to great b-fast buffet @lodge.Coming from north-buy gas @KOWB but friendly park staff will help w/gas onsight. Great get off the couch stop.
