Flew up to Blairstown this past Sunday for a short flight with a friend and some breakfast. Every time I come here I'm reminded what a beautiful place it is and how great the food is at the Runway Cafe. The staff at the Cafe are super friendly as well.

We flew in from KVAY for lunch. The Runway Cafe was loaded with locals ... Which is always a good sign. The home-cooked meals we enjoyed were excellent - of good quality and quantity. Inexpensive cost, too. The staff/personnel were very attentive and friendly. Beautiful country views! My family will definitely return in our Piper Cherokee PA 28 - runway well maintained.

Late on this comment. I flew here with a flagship of 2 last August. Breakfast is very cheap, and the gliders are fun to watch as you eat. Never get sick of visiting this airfield either.

Small but friendly. Great homestyle food and desserts at really reasonable prices. Hours are currently 7:00-4:30 daily. They only accept cash. Would definitely recommend!

Stopped there twice on last Saturday (1/19/08). The food was very delicious, but we had to wait a lot, because the restaurant was full. Unfortunately, the waitress wasn't very friendly, maybe because she was very busy. Otherwise, we enjoyed the breakfast and the lunch, too. I think this place could be a little bit larger, because they are always packed.

Flew here in a formation of Cessna's going to NY City and Long Island on 17 Nov - GREAT STOP for good food, good service, nice airport and reasonable fuel prices. This is one of the better airport restaurants in New Jersey as far as I can tell - worth a stop! I'll be back with the "Keystone Flight" from Carlisle, PA.!

A small place but otherwise good diner fare. Very reasonable (cheap) prices, at least come check it out on a pilgrimage. You'll probably spend more on car gas getting to your airport for your flight lessons than grabbing a bite here.
