Arrived just after closing time this past Wednesday. FBO was closed but Fawn came right out and helped me fuel the plane for an early morning getaway. She even helped push my loaded Cessna 195 across the ramp and get it tied down. I've stopped by several times enroute to/from upstate NY from Chicago and have always been treated like royalty.

Nice, small airport with reasonable fuel prices. Very busy on summer weekend with gliders and parachuters. 1/2-mile walk to fast food and sit down restaurants and outlet mall. 2-block walk to hotels. Enterprise rental on site.

Nice fuel stop. Might just have to plan a trip up there sometime and spend some time to get to know these friendly folks. Good prices fast in and out for my first fuel stop en route to AYA08 in Burlington IA. Use caution in the pattern and keep your head on a swivel, as there were numerous gliders and jumpers on the day I was there.

I fly around quite a bit and I don't know of another airport situated quite like Grove City. They are the only ones that I know of that you can walk a few hundred feet and be at a hotel and walk a little more and be at any number of restaurants. Oh and the outlet mall! It is huge and always my wife's favorite place to visit. I have never figured out why this isn't more of pilot's destination that is looking just to get the $100 hamburger. Ok the FBO is very nice with a nice lounge to check the weather and relax a bit if you have the time. The employees have always treated me well willing to fuel me in a hurry if I need it. Oh I heard that they will have a rental car facility there now too. My friend even had some of his radios fixed at the radio shop on the field: Quality Avionics. Oh and don't worry about the skydivers they land North West of the field and are not really an issue. Good Job gang, keep up the good work!

Flew up to Grove City to drop off a passenger. Found the people friendly, the facilities were good. I found it convenient and will return when headed that way again. Nice small airport feel to it.
