I fly around quite a bit and I don't know of another airport situated quite like Grove City. They are the only ones that I know of that you can walk a few hundred feet and be at a hotel and walk a little more and be at any number of restaurants. Oh and the outlet mall! It is huge and always my wife's favorite place to visit. I have never figured out why this isn't more of pilot's destination that is looking just to get the $100 hamburger. Ok the FBO is very nice with a nice lounge to check the weather and relax a bit if you have the time. The employees have always treated me well willing to fuel me in a hurry if I need it. Oh I heard that they will have a rental car facility there now too. My friend even had some of his radios fixed at the radio shop on the field: Quality Avionics. Oh and don't worry about the skydivers they land North West of the field and are not really an issue. Good Job gang, keep up the good work!

Flew up to Grove City to drop off a passenger. Found the people friendly, the facilities were good. I found it convenient and will return when headed that way again. Nice small airport feel to it.

A good place to learn to soar. Sadly they're not operating this year (2005), but hopefully they'll be back next summer. Gliders usually announce their downwind entry and then nothing else---keep your eyes open! With three ships operating it can get busy. Parachute ops are concentrated on the west end of the field. As a fuel stop, 29D is a no frills, no fuss way to go. Pumps are on the west side of the ramp. This airport is very convenient to the outlet mall.
