Stopped in for a splash and go. Well stocked pilot shop. Was met by staff and quickly on my way. Would stop again.

I love landing and hanging out at Clearview! If the pilot shop doesn't have what you need then you probably shouldn't have your machine in the air. If your machine does get in the air, then you should get it over to 2W2 and earn yourself a mug!

My CFI had me prove short field capabilities here when I was working on my private and I can't thank him enough for that. I've since been back. As others have said you need to be on your A game, warmed up and run the numbers, but it isn't as intimidating as it may seem. The FBO is a must visit, they have these coffee mugs that say you landed there with an amusing illustration and quotes. Also look to have a good selection of parts and supplies.

Consistently excellent service at this field. We called to say our formation of 4 planes would be arriving at closing time and the FBO manager stayed open an extra 15-20 minutes to ensure we all had fuel and our pilot supplies. Consider flying here for ALL your flying supplies, as it is a great way to keep a local shop and airport OPEN. Keep up the great work, Clearview!

I have been flying in and out of Clearview since the late Seventies. Not much has changed, always decent people, great pilot and supply shop and the fuel is cheap. As others have mentioned you must be on your A game going in. Not overly difficult but you got to be precise. Landing on 32 don't try to land at the end of the runway but aim for in front of the building. There is a pronounced slope at the beginning that is hard to nail. I fly my Bonanza in there all the time with no issues at all.

I always enjoy flying into Clearview. The service is great and the pilot shop is very well equipped for its size. Fuel is always very competitive...$4.89 on May 9th compared to $5.65 at my base (HGR). This airport is the subject of a lot of local lore. It's not nearly as sketchy as people will tell you, but you must be on your A game... I fly my Mooney into 2W2 a few times a year with no problems.

Do not let the short runway scare you away from such a great little airport. Inexpensive gas and a fantastic pilot shop ... What more do you need!
