Stopped in when our intended lunch spot wasn't plowed. What a fortunate turn. Great lunch!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great airport people. Great airport pooch (Winnie). Go there and support all that is right about GA. This has been added to my list of frequently visited airports.

Stopped in for fuel and lunch. Both were outstanding - good prices, very friendly service. Ended up with an extra pie "to go"

At the risk of sounding redundant, I just have to echo all the other great sentiments voiced here. This is flat out one of the most GA friendly airports you will encounter. Stopped in today (a Thursday) just for lunch. Not seeing any other planes on the ramp I feared that the restaurant might no be doing so well and that we'd lost another gem. Well, it appears the locals (coming by car) have discovered what we pilots already knew. These folks just know how to take care of customers in every way. The food quality was great and the portions overwhelming. Too bad we didn't save room for the pie everyone else was raving about. Do yourself a favor and make this a fuel and food stop if you're anywhere in the area.

This is an extremely GA friendly airport. Once I was stuck on the runway because of a flat tire. The maintenance team towed the plane and made it ready in less than 30 minutes with a very reasonable price. They also have a very nice restaurant. Skyline aviation also offers aerobatics training. Worth visiting.

I flew in with my buddy and his two kids for some lunch and a meeting with some more friends later on. The restaurant was busy for a Thursday though that is good to see it is locally supported by so many folks. The bacon cheeseburgers are great with their own homemade fries and a secret recipe sweet-sour coleslaw (yum). Again, easy self fueling with excellent prices so this is a great spot to fill up on chow and fuel.

Once again I was pleasantly surprised with the service I received at Salem Airpark, The level of service provided by Mike, his family, and employees was outstanding. The restaurant was not your typical airport food, this is a very nice family restaurant and I look forward to stopping by again.

I stopped in with two friends as a group of three aircraft (Keystone Flight) flying home to PA from Clinton, IA. The service at the fuel pump was great. The young man who helped us was very courteous. We ate at the restaurant and could not have been more please with the food and service. The owners, Mike and Brenda, introduced themselves to us and went out of their way to make sure we were treated well. What a great place to visit. The crowd proved that the restaurant is a big hit with the locals as well. Thanks Mike and Brenda. We'll be back.

Salem is one of those little-known gems of an airport that stand out and give General Aviation a good name. Returning to PA from the Cessna 150-152 Club International Fly-In in Clinton, IA, we stopped here for fuel. Some of our friends had fueled and stayed for lunch. The restaurant stayed open to feed us long after its normal closing time and the FBO staff was efficient and happy to help gas us up. Everyone was pleasant and friendly though forced to work late. I highly recommend this as a place worthy of your business.

The Keystone Flight of Central PA actually changed our fuel stop heading east because we heard what a great job Mike and Brenda do to make pilots feel welcome. We were not disappointed! The lineman came out and helped us with "self - serve" fuel, and the pilot planning area, pilot shop, lounge and excellent restaurant were all superb. I would make this a stop again, and even a fly-in breakfast destination for the future. Mike and Brenda, WELL DONE from the Keystone Flight of Central PA. Mike Marra, N714AJ.

Stopped in on 7/22/09. Great airport, great service, great food, and a good price on fuel. What else more do you want! The airport owners went out of their way to help us. I can't say thanks enough. The only down side is that it is not closer to NJ so I could stop in more often.

June 21, 2009 Flew in from Burke Lakefront. I'm always looking for a new place for Sunday lunch. I'm impressed! Food was great; service was quick and friendly; and all I can say is...I'm coming back with more passengers...Thanks to the staff who works hard to make a busy day.... A fun day for everyone.
