Did you ever want a time machine? That is what it felt like flying there and having breakfast at the diner. It is the best!

Flew in from Nashua (KASH). I like the diner atmosphere and enjoyed a great breakfast. It was a great day to fly down during the fall colors.

Jim Latour is a great pilot and instructor. The Xmas AM story is typical. He is the "small" airport operator that we are losing monthly. Gas is a little more, but the knowledge and stories from Jim are worth it! By the way, he's doing better - ask him to see his new bike!

I wish I had posted this a few years back. On Christmas Eve, 2006, I encountered severe turbulence on my way to visit family in Pennsylvania and decided to put down here at 3B0. With gusty direct crosswinds, I was happy to be on the ground. Jim Latour, the longtime operator of the FBO, took time out from wrapping Christmas gifts to help me find a hotel and drove me there. He picked me up from the hotel at 7am on Christmas morning and I took off in calm air to complete my trip. Jim went beyond the call of duty to help a stranded pilot. Looking forward to a visit to Jim's Flying Diner this Sunday.

I heard the other day that Jim Latour - the owner operator of the FBO and flight school was in a motorcycle accident and was airlifted off the scene. Jim has done a LOT for 3B0 as noted in this newspaper article, and we wish Jim the best for a speedy recovery!
