Spoke with the manager just now he said that I would not be able to get into the building - he also said that no fuel would be available unless someone was at the airport and that no one would be there. He has no business so he will not be there. He actually got a little arrogant with me. Avoid
Nice airport facilities and friendly people but poor customer service. Three phone calls and voicemails went unanswered for over a week before our arrival. No one ever did call back to answer my questions about fuel availability and other services. When we arrived the staff was very slow to assist with refueling. On the day of departure, there were people in the FBO who did not ask if we needed the restrooms before our departure and they locked us out of the FBO when they left. Lastly, 30 gallons of 100 LL should have been enough to waive a $10 tie down fee. Many other FBOs would do so, but not at Beloit.
What a gorgeous airport! The staff was friendly and courteous. Make sure you ask them for the door code, we didn't and the guy who was there when we were leaving disappeared and therefore we missed going inside to use the facilities. Not a big deal but we did have a long flight but oh well.... Still gorgeous and worth the stop. Just remember to ask questions..... And if you call first and leave a message, there is a chance that they will call you back, but next time, I will keep calling till I get a person. Still worth the stop.
