I have been stopping here for fuel for the past four years and have always enjoyed the friendly hospitality from Jamie, Barry, and the others. Recently during a fuel stop my starter went out, as I was getting ready to depart. Jamie (manager) and Marcus (A&P mechanic) immediately offered help as I was removing my cowling on the ramp. After some troubleshooting, they determined that a new starter was needed. They ordered the part and allowed me to borrow the courtesy car over night. By 10:00am the next morning they had the plane ready to go, and the charges were very reasonable. I definitely felt that I was their number one priority during my stay and that they were determined to get me back flying as soon as possible. I look forward to making this my fuel stop in the future and highly recommend Alabama Aircraft Management to others for their excellent customer service.

Very helpful with a loner car for myself, my daughter, and grandson to use to kill a couple of hours waiting on better weather. Once they learned it was home of "Alabama" country group the delay was made eventful. Thanks for the hospitality.

This airport, dubbed "The friendliest FBO Around" is far from it. The service lacks professionalism and has for years. If you are flying over try a different airport like Scottsboro, Albertville, or Guntersville.

Response from Jamie Newsome, Owner, Alabama Aircraft Management
I would like to thank Ryan for his honest opinion to our services here at Fort Payne, except this is not indicative of typical service provided. He is referring to a conversation between he and myself. I would also like to add that he is correct when he said he didn't receive professional treatment, which was from myself only. For the future, I have personally changed my policy when dealing with problems associated with the airport and/or my business. I admit I should have called Ryan immediately when I found the scratches on the inside of my 30 day old $400 windscreen in my 172, which he rented, instead of taking the time to calm down before addressing the problem. He was also correct when he informed me he would no longer rent aircraft from me. Thank you for helping me make better policy and provide better service for the flying community.

Alabama Aircraft Management did a great job of painting the old Aztec and making her a head turner where ever we land now!! Have had numerous compliments about the paint job at home as well as when were on a trip!! Can't thank you enough!!!

Fly into Ft. Payne quite often. Jamie and crew do a great job of taking care of pilots and their pax. Great place to stop, especially if you're dropping someone off/picking up at one of the many summer camps in Mentone

Very good fuel prices and they pump it from the truck. Nice building and friendly people. All in all it’s a great fuel stop if you're passing by northeast Alabama.
