Nice, friendly folks on the field. Runway is 2400', paved. Be aware of trees just off rwy 19 departure. Depending on wind and temperature this can be a "tight" situation.

I flew into Hamburg and arrived before sunrise. KBUF approach had to tell me that I was over the airport because their beacon does not work...And there pilot controlled lighting does not work. I had to circle until it was light enough to see the runway.

I flew to this airport and arrived before sunrise. There was "NO BECON" in operation, KBUF approach had to tell me I was over the location. The runway lights did not work on there frequency. I had to circle until it was light enough to see the runway. KBUF approach indicated that there was no NOTAM's about the lights not working at the airport.... But, they didn't work for me. Use caution when your arrival time is after dark.

Great place to fly into if you are heading to the area. People on the field are the type of people you wish were on every field you fly into. Didn’t charge me to tie-down and I was sorry to say that I couldn’t support the field by buying gas, the gas was not working the day I flew in (storm took it out a week prior). Runway is was tricky the first time I landed, but by the 3rd time, the 01 runway wasn’t a problem.
