10/20/2005 stopped there on my way to WV. It was around 10:00 am there was not a soul around. Door was open and I called the number of the manager with no answer. "do-not" stop at this airport as they "don't" want your business. They are a total upset for the AirNav program.
Response from Tim Isaly, Manager Mr. William Graves this airport is a County owned Airport which has irregular hours. But it just so happened the mechanic had to run an errand and the Manager (myself) was on midnight shift and was in bed at the time you stopped. If you would have knocked on the door at the house or even called ahead of time like the website states you might have gotten ahold of someone. I think it is unfair for you to make posts that we do not want pilots business at our Airport when you have stopped what? 1 time and no one was around, and let me add we do not make money off our fuel we sell, we lose money every year on the fuel and sometimes are unable to have fuel at all due to County funding being under $8000 for the entire year. So let me end in saying I'm sorry I was not awake and awaiting your arrival to meet YOUR every need.
