I visited Harris Hill and the National Soaring Museum in early October 2010. The museum has many artifacts and gliders dating from the earliest eras of flight. It is well worth spending a few hours. I also flew a sailplane. Rides are sold on a first-come-first-served basis and the wait to fly can be lengthy unless one arrives early in the day. My ride was a bit longer than the norm due to excellent lift conditions around the airport and the pilot did a few maneuvers (stall series, extra steep turns) that he wouldn't do with a non-pilot passenger. I'd do this again in a heartbeat!
