This airport is an easy, very quick stop for fuel. The fuel is now $3.40 after a long stint above $4 for 100LL. There is a newer Ford Taurus wagon courtesy car for a quick run into town to Old Timer's cafe or the Malt Shop (good burgers and diner food) or to Rod's to grab some things at the supermarket. On the approach to 26, there is an eastern road that often has vehicles pass which can make it close on approach. On that same road lives an Amish community with a general store with very inexpensive goods.

VERY CHEAP FUEL. I flew in, and though I have plenty of tailwheel experience, the runway proved difficult due to short length, high-density altitude, and the fact that we were descending out of 9, 500' out of the mountains for our approach. Good experience though and I highly recommend using this airport as a fuel stop (especially considering your choices in the area include Missoula which can be very expensive)
