Flew into Moultonboro airport this fine fall day to take some friends for a ride in my Bell 47 helicopter. The trees were beautiful in their fall splender. The rides were made even more enjoyable when we re-fueled to find the price was reduced dramatically to the lowest I've seen in the entire northeast! If you’re in the vicinity, stop by this beautiful airfield, enjoyed the beautiful scenery and the lower fuel price. I do frequent this airport fairly often, and I encourage other pilots to support it as well. Safe flying.

This weekend (Independence Day), I made a fuel stop at Moultonboro on my way to Bar Harbor. At this very basic airport (runway a little rough but ok, porta-potties) "in the middle of nowhere" you'll get the best fuel price in New England ($4.20 on July 2nd). It has self-service pump, hence you can fly in whenever you want!

I fuel at Moultonboro Airport on a regular basis as the fuel price is very competetive. It's a nice airport in a great part of New Hampshire with terrific scenery in all directions. We need to support these "airplane" friendly airports as much as possible. Paul, a friendly, helpful operator has done his best to keep those fuel prices on the low end of the scale. I look forward to every flight at Moultonboro in my Bell 47 and would urge all pilots to stop in and enjoy this beautiful location....
