Flew in, in a Mooney, was greeted on the CTAF frequency with landing advisories, Jeff pumped the fuel for me at the "self serve" pump, and we were on our way in no time. It was easy to pick up our clearance going westbound towards Las Vegas, however radar coverage is poor at low altitude to the east. Great airport for fuel.

Even though I was charged the self serve price an attendant on a golf cart ran over and chocked my wheels, grounded the plane and pumped the gas. And when that was done, he drove me over to the office to use the head and back to the plane. He mentioned that there was precious little sunlight left and I ought to be on my way. He read my mind. That attendant was the best.

Nice airport, easy to spot (in the day) from the air. Runway is well paved but a tad bit lumpy and slopes downhill using Runway 19. Quick walk to Wolf Creek GC for food...Very decent food. Avgas is self-serve. Visually one of the better airports to fly to given the surrounding terrain.
