Great airport with good self serve fuel prices at the main terminal. Courtesy car to get to town. The Grand Union hotel is a fantastic. Taylor Aviation is off the airport and has outrageous fuel prices.

Landed at Fort Benton due to engine problems. Taylor Aviation was fantastic with trying to figure out the problem. Fuel pumps are at mid-field, the price is great and the courtesy car was appreciated.

Suggest checking with airport manager prior to arrival. When we arrived the runway was closed without a NOTAM being filed for resurfacing. Could not reach any of the listed contacts, including Taylor Aviation, at 4pm. The next day upon reopening the public tiedowns were non-existent due to the un-NOTAMed resurfacing. Disappointed with Taylor Aviation. They were not forthcoming with information both prior to and during our trip. They would not divulge the price of their avgas over the phone nor explain where the self-service pump was at the airport. Not used to being treated like this. My only guess is that they were frustrated with the situation and it showed. Without regard to the above comments I did appreciate the courtesy car, which seems to be maintained by the city or county. This could end up being a very nice airport, just be sure to confirm fuel and tiedown availability prior to arrival.
