Just flew into Ferguson for a 4th of July fishing trip and a visit with friends. Read the reviews from AirNav, and must say this is one best-kept secrets in Pensacola. Great location, terrific fuel price for the region. There is nothing like a family owned operation that appreciates your business. The airport is not that difficult to get in or out of if you work with PNS Approach. Thanks for the pleasant stay!

If Mr. Calder can't be happy at Ferguson’s, He just can't be happy.

The previous entry by Mr. Calder didn't have correct information. Ferguson's fuel is always cheaper than PNS, and fairly competitive with other airports in the area. Who wants to fly 2 hours to find cheaper fuel? Anyway, love the people running the FBO. Great service, friendly and extremely helpful. Like most people, I don't mind paying the minimal tie down fee; this is the Ferguson's livelihood after all.

While Jennifer & Don may be friendly and assist with rental cars reservations, they are not friendly with their fuel price or ramp fees. Their fuel price is only slightly less than the nearby Pensacola/PNS, and they still charge $10/night for ramp parking even with the purchase of fuel. I filled up 1-hour north prior to arrival for $1.00/gal less and then 2 hours east near Tallahassee for also $1.00/gal less. The fact that they have both an asphalt landing strip and a well-maintained grass strip makes this a fun field to land at (depart on the asphalt). Bathrooms were acceptable.

On Oct. 21st we had 4 aircraft from the Birmingham area go into 82J to tour the Naval Museum. It was the best experience I have had in a long time. Very hospitable folks and you feel like one of the group. They helped tie down the birds and shuttled us to and from the museum. I highly recommend 82J for fuel or just a visit. Be sure to check arrival & departure procedures. Blue skies ya'll.

I took a six ship RV flight into Ferguson’s last weekend to visit the Naval Aviation Museum. We could not have been treated better. Jennifer treated us like family. When it was clear that we had transportation issues, she gave us the FBO's giant SUV for the entire weekend. She even arrived four hours early on Sunday to accommodate our departure time. I would have asked her to marry me but my wife would have killed me. (Probably her husband too) By far the best experience I have had in 28 years of flying. I will make excuses to divert into there in the future.

Flew into Ferguson for vacation in Perdido Key. Nice airport with great service and best fuel prices and tie-down rates in the area. The Ferguson's are very accommodating. Getting into and out of the airport and airspace is no problem. It helps to talk to Pensacola Approach. I will be back and recommend their services to anyone.

April 21, 2006. We stopped for personal reasons at the Naval Base. The fuel price was as advertised, people were friendly and helpful. An interesting approach and departure, but that should not keep you out of this fine stop.

Stopped overnight on the way to Sun and Fun. Very nice grass strip next to pavement, the traffic pattern and approach very easy even though close to NAS. We were treated courteously, and efficiently. I will stop here on any other visits to Pensacola, much more friendly than the regional airport for general aviation. Rental car and hotel very close by, and easy to arrange ahead of time. Nice job.

Jennifer Ferguson was extremely helpful when we stopped over night. She helped us find a hotel nearby, and even dropped us off there. They have a very friendly field, expecially for general aviation, and the NAS approach control was helpful both flying into and out of the field, allowing us to use the beach route for our convenience.

My wife was driving our grandson's car to NAS Pensacola, I flew on ahead. Mr. Ferguson got us one of the last motel rooms in the area less than two miles from the main Pensacola gate. No mean feat in that area now. Their service was great, thanks Cajun. An interesting airport to get to, less than 700 ft. under the class C, and a traffic pattern at 547 ft. A good stop in the Pensacola area, don't let the location scare you, Pensacola approach vectors you in and makes sure that you understand the operations plan for getting in. Thanks again to all.

There is no better FBO in the entire area. Don't even think of Pensacola Regional unless the runway at Ferguson is too short. For example, towing my airplane to the pumps; filling it up with the cheapest gas around; and re-tieing the bird down again. Can't be beat. Oh, you get free Blue Angel practice viewing on those practice days.
