Nothing! One Non-Working Coke machine. That's all Folks. Nice long runway. Beware of crop dusters; they never learned how to use a radio.

Flew to Yazoo County Airport on September 27, 2009 for a morning flight around the Jackson, Vickburg, and Yazoo areas. The fuel price was higher than what was shown on AirNav.Com of $3.85 on 9/26/09. The actual price was $4.40 when I top my tanks. I was a little disappointed, but happy not to pay the $5.00 at Jackson International where my Cessna C150 is parked. The 87I airport pilot center, conference room, and restrooms are very clean. I enjoyed my third visit to the airport and I look forward to visiting it more often. Minor note to the airport manager- I noticed a large amount of loose rocks on the taxi way. Bad thing for "we" pilots prop.

Not a bad experience. BEWARE OF CROP DUSTERS!!!! These guys do not listen or talk on the radio. Maybe they had their avionics replaces with a good ole' CB radio or something. Also, the Crew Car runs well but no Air Conditioning and the MS summer is brutal.

Solo cross-country to Yazoo Airport on March 19, 2009 from Hawkins Airport. Best to land using runway 17, it is clear of trees while on final. There is a tail-wheeled crop duster aircraft that flew very low (about 200-300 AGL) landing and taking off every 10-15 minutes; forget using your COM, it has right way. It used 17 for take off and 35 for landing for the four hours that I visited. I did some afternoon fishing along the riverbank east of the airport. I got some mid-sized catfish. Yazoo is a nice airport and the little county office with bathrooms was nice and clean. You can refresh yourself and buy some snacks. I enjoyed the visit.
