Great fuel stop or just a place to go practice some landings and then fuel up.

I had plans for a fuel stop elsewhere but weather took that option out of the equation so, I landed at Hastings. I discovered that they were having some construction done at their fuel island and I couldn't taxi up to the pump. The kind folks on the field assisted me in getting around the hangars and to the pump. They provided deluxe 'assisted service' by working my credit card, the pump and helping push back after fueling! It doesn't get much better than that. Also, two of the tenants on the opposite end of the field were very helpful in helping me get fueled up and on my way - I'm very grateful for all of the friendly help! Many thanks! I would highly recommend this airport.

Such a good airport! Fuel is some of the cheapest in the area, and two very friendly folks helped me out with a courtesy car (which was practically a Cadillac as far as courtesy cars go). I won't hesitate to stop by again!

Important Note! The cell phone number (269-838-7990) for the Airport Manager Michael Brown is incorrect! The guy that answered the phone is just an ordinary guy who get 20 phone calls a month about the airport (he's not happy either) it should be removed.
