There have been significant upgrades to runway and taxiway lighting with runway end lights installed, fresh paint on all surfaces. Much easier to find at night. Caution when flying the GPS approach at night. The chart says prior permission needed to activate lights. Buffalo approach still asks whether you have "arranged" to have the lights turned on. Just say 'yes', and turn them on over the Unicom. The transient area is still good. I had a problem getting electricity for my Rieff engine heater but when brought to the attention of line service a breaker was found switched off. It was happily rectified. $10/night tie down and $25/night in the hangar. What a deal for a hangar. I would recommend having a plane hangared at least the night before departure. Buffalo winter weather can be unpredictable and leave you wishing you had paid a few extra bucks. The self serve pump works fine. KBQR just a few miles away is cheaper, however. Can't wait to see what they come up with next!

Cost of fuel and repairs/maintenance work is just not acceptable -
