This is a real "grass roots" airpark. Upon arrival, a local airpark resident welcomed me, and checked out my homebuilt. Then he drove me around the airpark and showed me his project under construction. This airport has very friendly people. I flew in for flight training and received excellent instruction from Sheble Aviation. Valerie set me up with one of their courtesy cars for getting back and forth to the AVI resort. I highly recommend this FBO/Flight Training School to anyone who enjoys a friendly atmosphere.

Stopped for fuel and overnight on a Saturday afternoon. No one there. Had a tough time getting free transportation to a casino, as the nearest ones were full. Fuel was easy to dispense except I was double charged on my credit card. Don Laurila KTRM

I was in Sun Valley 2 weeks ago to do some flight training. The instructors and examiners at Sheble Aviation Sea, Sail and Tail were fantastic. Extremely knowledgeable and very good at teaching. It was over all a great experience.

Stopped in for fuel this morning. Very easy in and out to save a bundle on fuel vs. IFP. Only thing, the green book (and my compass) indicated the runway was 17, but when we were approaching 18 was painted on the runway. Not sure.

What a fun place to stop. The fuel was $.65 less than Sedona our destination. $4.40 yesterday. The Pilot Lounge is wonderful. Food/Drink/Snacks, nice bathroom with shower. What a lovely find. Thank you!

I landed at Sun Valley on 11/16/07 on a business trip. The staff and owners were very friendly and helpful with a special request and I found their fuel to be reasonably priced.

Nice place to stop for gas. Nothing else going on as this airport is really a live-in airpark. But they seem to want the gas biz from transient pilots and are very friendly. Gas pump is new and works great. Today the price was $0.65 less than IFP. Good place to stop.
