Flew in here this morning for a "fly-in", complete with pancake breakfast, musicians, the volunteer Fire Dept.; the works! Please understand a few things: 1) The scenery is stunning! Pay attention to your flying. 2) This airport is in a very high altitude mountain valley. Watch your density altitude, and be aware that you have to climb really high to get out of the valley and over the mountains. 3) The runway is right next to the highway. Don't mix them up. 4) Delightful people! 5) State-of-the-art self-service fueling system. Would be better if they posted the price somewhere in/on the building. I didn't see that. Tom Thanks for attending the 2021 SilverWest AirFest! Also, thank you for your comments. We are in the middle of upgrading the 100LL fuel tank and delivery system and we will see what we can do to more prominently display current pricing. Of course, it is displayed on the pump, but we will look at additional postings. Thanks again for attending the AirFest and we look forward to your next visit.
