Efficient & fast. SS pumps weren't working so lineman used fuel truck..With a higher price than advertised here. Pleasant service but would suggest a little 409 & Pinesol in the bathroom (one).

NOTICE! RESTURANT CLOSED. Flew in Monday Dec. 3rd for lunch only to find out that the restaurant has closed. The guy in the line shack says he has no idea when it will open again. He let me use the airport car to go into town for lunch at the new IHOP.

They are located two miles north of Morris, Illinois. Facilities include a 5008 by 75 foot hard surfaced and lighted runway with parallel taxiway, VOR and GPS approaches, lighted windtree, beacon, on site flight planning area with present weather AWOS.

Flew in 5/13/7 - Interesting on-field restaurant, full of nice people serving nice food in a rather limber-appearing Quonset. Pilot shack is very shack-like and contains all the proper equipment for flight prep and personal waste disposal, plus a popcorn popper and a TV. There seemed to be no interest in 'pushing' a fuel sale, a refreshing difference from big busy airports.

The restaurant is open again for breakfast and lunch until 1500.

The cafe is open again. The new owner is nice and the food was good.

From Joe Schindlbeck on 05-Mar-2007
According to the airport's website, the restaurant was scheduled to reopen March 1. Haven't been there yet myself to see it reopened.

Sad to say Cafe' Cabaret has closed, but is expected to re-open under new management in a few weeks.

Having not checked AirNav before flying in I found the restaurant closed per the previous comment. I spoke with a friend in the line shack and he advised that the city has someone else to reopen the restaurant but that won't be for sometime down the road. I guess it's "phone first".

Tried to have breakfast today at the C09 restaurant but they were closed. There was an orange sticker on the door regarding a health department violation. They had really good food although the bathrooms could use some work. Hope they reopen...

Great stop for linking Angel or Compassion Flights. Nice family restaurant with buffet and good fuel discount from their already reasonable prices!
