I spend an average of two days a week here and I find the resting area plenty comfortable enough for a pilot to play the waiting game! Also, you will not find a friendlier staff than the one in Pekin.

You have a great facility at Peoria. What happened at Pekin? Is it the poor cousin? Very nice, helpful staff, but the crew "rest area" is painfully uncomfortable. I think all FBO owners should be made to spend at least a whole day sitting in their FBO crew rest areas, just as a host should sleep in their guest bed to make sure the guest will rest well. Those seats are dire!

I stop here often because I fly for a Basset Hound rescue organization. This is a nice airport with very friendly people - I have always found the staff to be helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, I can find no reason for the fuel to be so very expen$ive.... Exorbitant.
