This is A GREAT AIRPORT to stop on the way to OSHKOSH!! John is the best! There is free cab service to the "Ridge" motel. John has arranged round trip bus service to Whittman Field if you want to be "chauffeured" to Whittman Field. I highly recommend stopping at PORTAGE on the way to the fly in!

Had an unplanned stop here due to weather and sure glad we did. Friendly folks, good fuel prices (and MOGAS for my STC), and they had a crock-pot of Wisconsin sausage cooking so we stayed to enjoy lunch too.

Stopped in the other day on my way from Indiana to Minnesota. What a great place! John is very friendly and helpful. I will be stopping here again anytime I am coming this way!

We have used Portage two years on our way to OSH. Both times we have been impressed by the service, attitude and fuel price. We will be returning on future trips. Nice airport, great people.

Flew in during Oshkosh 2006 to pick up my son's friend and found the airport to be very nice with good fuel prices. Fuel is 24 hours and after-hours you can get into the pilot lounge area on the other side of the building. Full access to the bathroom, computer, weather, etc. Very convenient! About 25 minute flight to Oshkosh, so it's a great spot to land for staging into Ripon.

Visited Air Portage during Oshkosh 2005. What a great experience! John Poppy the airport manager bent over backwards to take care of us. Even found us hangar space instead of tiedown for a very reasonable price. Super friendly folks - will definitely stop here again.

The ONLY place to stop when going to OSH. The operator was there late and told me exactly when and how to get in to OSH. He even helped me with lodging. C-Store within 5 min. walk was a great place to stock up before OSH.
