Sweet little airport with the fantastic Williams Airmotive shop just 3 miles away. The airport mgr came in late while I just sat waiting for him. A real talker!

I saw previous negative comments but this was the closest airport to where we needed to go. Fuel was $3.85 with my charge card, there was no landing fee (we did not stay overnight) and we were treated well. We will return.

Very poor experience when getting checked out to rent the C150 on the field. Felt very unsafe while flying with Jim, the CFI/Owner, as he yelled and insulted me and my abilities while in the air. I think he didn't like me because I'm a fairly young pilot. I'm now regularly renting at KSMD instead. Much more friendly!

I have been going to Kendallville for a few years now. I have always wondered why there were never many transit aircraft. I have always thought the fuel was to high for this type of airport. The other day I was in there, in a BE36. I had a good load of pax and bags so I could only take so much fuel. I ask to be fueled to the tabs, what I got was fueled to the slots. This put me very close on weight. The guy who is running the airport never wants to ground the aircraft and has an attitude. I told him he had over fueled me and I never got a sorry about that. Needless to say that is our last time into C62. We will be going to Auburn form now on.
