Maxie was a great help during our trip Thanksgiving 2010. Chose F95 because the new airport in PC was WAY TOO EXPENSIVE for fuel and tiedown. F95 runway was brand new, nice planning room and restrooms, and SS pumps worked fine. Lowest fuel around. We tied the plane on the ramp for a week and weren't charged a fee, don't know if it was because we were military, or they were just being nice. Either way, flying back to PC again this summer and will not go anywhere else. Maxie says they've just enlarged the ramp and they're building new hangars. The fuel and tiedown savings will pay for a couple days rental car, so I'll drive an extra 40 minutes.

Max said sometimes the display on the fuel pump is inop, even though fuel is dispensed and the bill is correct. Call for assistance, if required: Max's cell (850) 209-3229

The info on F95 is out of date. F95 is no longer just a turf strip. New 3100-foot asphalt runway now open. New repair facility relocating there from KPFN possibly next month.

My bladder wouldn't have made it to DeFuniak Springs! Glad you were there, watch this airport in the future, big doings, and should have a new runway and taxiway before too long, right now it is pretty good turf runway, good location away from the military ops that dominate northern Florida.
