Flew into Clermont Co. Airport in a Cessna 180 for a long weekend in Cincinnati. Excellent service from all the Sporty's FBO staff. Terrific facilities. This was my second visit and both stays were first rate. AND it was a chance to visit the home, and store, of legendary Sporty's.

PALS (Patient AirLift Services) can not say enough about the outstanding service and out of the way efforts that the Sporty's staff and management have gone to when helping our volunteer pilots such as Joe Howley, Aaron Henschel and Paul Sciara as they flew in patients in need of medical treatment. Our mission is a team effort and we could not do it without the generosity of the FBO's we use. THANK YOU Sporty's for helping PALS in Changing Lives One flight at a Time.

I've gotter to be a regular transient, as my son now lives closely. Very friendly and efficient. Earlier this summer they volunteered to stick my plane in a vacant hangar since a severe storm was forecast. Used to go into Lunken, but when leaving Lunken morning fog is the rule, rather than the exception. Fuel is cheaper here, Plus you can window shop at Sporty's. Note: I updated price; gave a price that includes the sales tax, which was listed separately on the bill

I stopped by enroute from the DC area to STL for fuel and food with the family. I was greeted promptly. The Sporty's counter provided a nice VW Beetle to grab lunch. I enjoyed the visit and the facilities were great. One feedback item: I must assume though that that Sporty's and Eastern Cincinnati have had problems with parents not minding their children. My wife was turned off by multiple signs that made her feel our (well behaved) two year old daughter was not welcomed there. All that said, employees were friendly to my family. I had the same problems picking up my clearance as reported by other users. Even when pulling up next to a "124.9 works well here" sign, clearance delivery still struggled to hear me.

From Don Dillman on 22-Aug-2010

Sporty's ramp service was outstanding on two successive trips. Unable to pickup IFR clearance on published freq 124.9 either at the Sporty's ramp, enroute to runway 04 or at the end of the runway. Departed VFR and received clearance from CVG approach on 121.0.
