This is a small, friendly, and convenient airport in the shadow of New Century Airport. Fuel prices are reasonable, and there is usually someone around to answer questions. There are some pilots who fly daily, and on weekends it is busier. There is a mechanic, a flight shop, and a flight school. If you are coming to SW Kansas City, consider landing here!

Stopped in to stretch my legs on a coast to coast trip. Talked for a while with some pilots just hanging out on the front porch. It's that kind of airport. Two of the three runways are grass and they are nice. The pilots shop is interesting -- airplane stuff all over the place! After takeoff, I did a touch and go on the grass runway just for the fun of it. An airport I'd like to be based out of.

GREAT little airport! Friendly folks, and lots of activity. Self serve fuel worked fine, not sure about other services, but there seems to always be someone around if you need help. Coming back again!

Great little airport. Self-service is up and running after the storm.

Lighting strike took out the gas pumps self-service. Cash for gas. Don't have change. Should be fixed pretty soon.

Stopped on the way to OSH July 2010. Nice airport. Facilities worked. One of the locals "kidnapped" me and took me to lunch. Can't beat that.

Mogas "Worked last time I used it". Seriously though, it is the cheapest Mogas in the area. No one will help you, but everything is there that you need for Self Service.

Please note the Mogas pump is broken and hopefully will be fixed in the next week or two.

Credit Card reader is now working again. Previous company went belly up. New price for 100LL is $3.10 while Mogas is $2.65
