Couldn't be better! We were met by 4 people eager to help with passengers and bags. They pulled up our rental car and were very helpful in every way we could ask. The facilities are wonderful too! A top FBO in my book!

Great service from the folks at Abilene Aero. Stayed for a week and they ensured my airplane was parked into the wind, out of the elements etc. Thanks for the great support.

Diverted into KABI March 19th my way to Austin. So did a lot of airlines from DFW. Whitney was able to snag the last available rental car for my family and me and we drove the rest of the way home. Without her attempts, we would have been stranded! Excellent service all around.

Great handling in Abilene by Abilene Aero. No sooner than I unloaded, they were towing the airplane to the hangar for overnight. Markie & Whitney, CSR, were very helpful and accommodating. They arrange for us to RON at the Whitten Inn, which has a shuttle. Not only did Whitten Inn take us to and from the airport, but also took us to Lytle Land & Cattle Steak House. Great steaks! Whitten Inn also provides a free hot breakfast. We look forward to our next RON in ABI.

Arrived evening for fuel stop. CSR Tiffany Tully was sitting cross-legged on her chair eating some fruit. My wife walked in to use the facilities, and reported that the paper towel dispenser was out of paper. CSR was rude, would not make eye contact, and recited that the knob just needed to be turned (which was not the problem at all - it was out of paper). CSR had trouble contacting line service for dispensed fuel report, and could not bring herself to actually walk the 15-20 feet to obtain the information she apparently needed. This CSR demonstrated no interest whatsoever that we were trying to get fueled and on our way as quickly as possible. I would have gladly traded the thank-you note we received from Abilene Aero for some basic common courtesy when we were actually at the facility purchasing fuel. Future fuel stops in this geographic area will certainly include a search for viable alternatives, perhaps an FBO with CSRs that demonstrate some minimal appreciation for our business.

Very helpful with our late (midnight) arrival. There are many radio towers and wind generators around ABI so an instrument approach is a good idea at night unless you are familiar with the area.

Abilene Aero is always a nice stop. Great service, very friendly, nice small pilot shop, very nice pilot lounge and flight planning area. I've flown in twice on Thanksgiving Day and the line guys have been available all day and have been very helpful and friendly, despite not being able to spend the day with their families.

Fuel stop 9/14. We were awaiting return of a crew car for food, had filled out the sign-out sheet then were preempted when a group of Air Force pilots arrived and requested a car. No problem, total respect for these guys and another car was due back shortly. After waiting 20 minutes we were preempted again by another group of AF pilots who arrived and said they reserved the car though receptionist had no record. I still would have been ok with that, but despite already bumping us she bumped us again without asking me anything, which was a little much. We decided to skip lunch and depart when the FBO manager arrived, heard the story from receptionist and offered me his personal car. No big deal but pretty unprofessional by the receptionist, though manager handled it perfectly. We will be back.

Overnighting Pilots please note: the Wingate by Wyndham Abilene does not offer "complimentary airport and area shuttle" as advertised. However The Residence Inn does.

Received an e-mail from Joe Crawford expressing his regret that the CSR failed to apply a customary discount for Angel Flight aircraft. He corrected the situation. I think this speaks volumes about Abilene Aero's dedication to customer service. I'll be back for sure.

Took an AngelFlight patient and his wife into ABI this week and needed some extra fuel for the return leg. Line crew was extremely prompt, professional, and helpful. I was charged full retail for fuel and when I questioned it I was told that they only give discounts for "contract" fuel. Man, that is cold. In 15 years of AngelFlight I have only encountered one other FBO with that attitude.

Well-maintained airport, friendly tower, nice FBO with a comfortable lounge and flight planning area. Line staff was professional and friendly. I flew in with a Long-EZ and was treated like I had a King Air. No charge for tie-down. I'll be back.

Flew in here to attend a family reunion. I spent many years in West Texas so I was prepared for the lack of scenery! Yes, it's windy here, as one person mentioned. It's windy because there's nothing to stop the wind! You won't be disappointed in the service and the location of the airport is near, well, there's nothing around to be near to! :-)
