I have taken my Grandchildren to Cavanaugh Flight Museum for many years. It is an absolute must for our children and Grandchildren to see our country's history of flight. They offer paid flights on some of the WWII war birds from time to time. If you sit by the runway on weekends you can see some of the WWII war birds take off. Most folks would think them to be slow. No so. Man when they get lined up and push that throttle down the world explodes and that tail lifts up and they are lickadee split out off the runway and gone. It's just wonderful.
