Hi, everyone my name is Dhiren. I recently completed my multi-engine commercial from Monarch Air and I must say that the level of the training and the professionalism was undeniable. Monarch is everything a student pilot can ask for, good competent instructors, new updated planes, and good maintenance. The airport it’s based out of gives you the right amount of confidence and experience to improve your flying skills in every aspect. Monarch was like a second family for me and I will always cherish all he moments I had with them. I went there as just another guy and came out a fully awesome fuel injected 99-octane pilot.

I have recently completed my commercial pilot training from Monarch Air and I must say that the school is a combination of professionalism and quality. They have got latest fleet of C172S and a BE76 for multi-engine (with fantabulous engine performance). I have to tell you guys that this is one of the best schools in whole of US and Canada.

The (Sawtelle) family owns and operated Monarch Air. The flight school is one of the finest operations I have come across to date. They maintain a professional and efficient business all while making you feel like one of the family. The Aircraft and equipment are "top shelf" as are the staff and management.

Being a part of Monarch Air as a student is a great experience for me. Becoming a pilot, was my dream and today I have successfully completed my Private and Instrument. Now I am on my way to complete my CPL. I would like to share my experience with the aspiring pilots coming to Monarch Air. My parents wanted to send me in save and secure hands wherein I can master my skills in flying. And to me Monarch Air is the best flying academy. The staff, from administration to instructors is like a family. The instructors are highly qualified and skilled in their field. They guide and encourage you to get closer to your goal step by step. I am sure whoever comes here will definitely take back plenty of knowledge and experience which will make one stand above the others. Lastly I want to extend my sincere gratitude to all, for their help and support throughout my course that has turned my dream into reality. Hope to see you soon at Monarch to fulfill your dream like mine.

I would highly recommend Monarch Air to anyone considering taking flying lessons. I received my private pilot certification and am now working toward my IFR certification. They also manage and maintain my airplane. The management, maintenance shop, front desk personnel and instructors are all great to work with -- They have made flying a very enjoyable experience. Thanks to all of them!

I looked into multiple flight schools and individual instructors, and choosing Monarch has been a great decision. They set reasonable expectations, the airplanes are always well maintained, and they put safety first. I have a full workweek, and a family at home, and my instructor has given me the flexibility to set my own schedule.

I have been told that Monarch has moved their flight operations from Dallas Executive to Addison. Dallas Exec is a great low volume airport compared with Addison; this is bad for the customer and Dallas Exec. There must have not been enough customer volume...
