Tried to get gas today. The graphic says to swipe card facing Right. Placard over slot says Left. Hose to pump 2 would not unreel. Tried pump 1 but could not get it to run. Asked the girl at the desk but she couldn't figure it out either. Finally fueled at Corona Air Ventures.

Response from Mike Brannigan, General Manager Fly Corona!
Dear Sir, I apologize for the difficulty you experienced. Thank you for letting us know about our terminal misconfiguration. We have fixed the conflicting stripe instructions, and the difficult hose reel, and the pumps have passed a function test. Additionally, I hope that the 5 minutes you spent cussing out poor Crissy in the office was able to salvage any ego damage this situation caused you, and I wish you luck in your future fuel purchase endeavors. Regards

Stopped to get parts at Aircraft Spruce, which is supposed to provide a shuttle, but they weren't answering their phone. The owner, Mike, gave me a ride in his own car. Aircraft Spruce didn't have the weird little plastic rings that are good to place around critical circuit breakers. I'd been looking for these for months for my Cirrus. Mike pulled out an avionics parts catalog and showed me how to order them. All this plus air conditioning and a nice high-speed Internet connection and high-quality LCD screen on the Dell computer in the lobby. Great folks!

Stop here for fuel! Chevron self-serve planted right near all the transient parking. Very convenient! The staff seems to always have cookies, coffee, soda and water available too! Thanks guys! The friendliest bunch on the field!
