Mike took great care of us when we flew in for an overnight! He was there to greet us even before we got out of the plane. Best fuel prices within 50 miles and second best in the state during our trip.

Stopped today in our PA-32. A very nice quick stop. Inexpensive SS 100LL. Nice facility and people. Careful on your first night approach to 36; runway has an interesting rise and dip.

Alexander City is a must stop! Nice FBO with computer and wireless capability, clean restrooms, nice flight planning area, courtesy car, close by eateries and Mike Smith is more than willing to accommodate and assist in anyway he can. And the fuel prices? Always competitive. This place has it all!

Self-serve fuel is down while tanks under construction.

Got fuel on 2/11/08 self-service was fine. Used FBO and they have a nice computer for weather etc. Fuel on that date was $4.05 gal. It is now $4.41 SS. What happened did fuel go up that much in about 30 days? Auto fuel went up by about 10 to 15 cents but not 35 cents?

If you like Chinese food, there is an above average buffet just beyond the western end of the strip mall at the bottom of the hill from the airport entrance, about a half-mile walk. There's also a pizza place and a cheap Chinese place in the strip mall. Landed after hours, quickly fueled up at the reasonably priced self-service pump, and walked to the eatery for supper. Good experience.
