The Warsaw Municipal Airport is located one nautical mile north of Federal Airway V422, 8.5 nautical miles east of Federal Airway V285, and 5.5 nautical miles southwest of Federal Airway V311.

The Warsaw Municipal Airport offers two mile-long runways, courtesy cars, and safety features as found at larger airports. With the installation of an ILS system (Instrument Landing System) in 1994, all categories of aircraft can conduct instrument landings at the Warsaw Airport with weather minimums of a 200-foot ceiling and ¾ mile visibility. The ILS provides better and safer access to Warsaw and is an economic development attraction for future businesses wishing to locate or expand in our community.

The largest orthopedic companies in the world are based in Warsaw, Indiana, and they all depend on Warsaw Municipal Airport for their operations. The facility also offers flight instruction, aircraft rental, and charter is available. We are making every effort to improve and maintain our gateway to the community, and to promote and educate the general public and local government about the importance of general aviation. We are growing and are proud of our facilities.

Airport Facts

Warsaw Airport Tower

The airport terminal, while nearly 40-years old, has been very well-maintained.  The distinctive "Tower," a unique feature from the terminal's original days, serves as a hub for the line staff, as well as an interesting conversation starter.

There is a comfortable pilots area with satellite television, and computerized weather information, flight-plan filing, and wireless internet access is available through a desktop computer. Free coffee and an ice machine are also provided.

Displayed in the terminal lobby is the original propeller from a 1915 airplane flown locally by aviation pioneers of that time.
