My wife and I stopped to and from a trip from northern Illinois to western South Dakota. On a Sunday, there was no one working but the self-serve gas pumps worked fine and the very clean and nice terminal was open. On the return flight we were met at the pump by the manager who offered to pump the gas for us while we made our run to the necessary rooms in the terminal. Highly recommended for a quick easy gas stop and a chance to meet a very nice airport manager!

Great little airport and fantastic fuel prices. Flew in for a Saturday breakfast...Fast, efficient help in fueling our Archer. Nice courtesy car. Will definitely stop again.

Great place! Overnighted on my way to OSH. Took the courtesy car to town for dinner, then slept in the terminal building. Credit card self-fueler and friendly folks. I'll definitely stop here again.

I recently (end of June 09) stopped at Algona and found the FBO nice convenient and the 100LL prices some of the lowest in the country. Jim the manager could not have been more helpful.. In short a very agreeable stop I recommend it!!
