Not only is the fuel at a great price but also the service is fantastic! I needed a quick turn for fuel and called Five Star on the Unicom frequency 5 miles out. As soon as I landed, they were flagging me in and bringing the truck in. It was as if I was at a NASCAR pit stop! Everyone was so polite and they had me on my way promptly. Thank you for your service.

My cousin and I flew in yesterday and were met by a very friendly staff. After shutting down and parking the 172 we were given a loaner car (I reserved ahead of time). We asked for places to eat and told about a place called Westwood Bar and Grill. It was easy to find and the food was great. I had a Bison Burger and my cousin had a Pub Burger. After eating we went back to the airfield, return the keys, and provided cleaning supplies to clean the dead bugs of the windscreen of the airplane. It was a great experience and will stop there again.

They just recently instituted a 10-cent per gallon discount on 100 LL for Cash payments.

Fast service and excellent prices. They were fueling my plane only minutes after I arrived. I'll be back on a regular basis.

Great fuel stop. Not only the price, but the service was very fast. I watched several planes come and go. Every one greeted and served quickly.

I have been using Five Star at BAF for years on flights from NJ to ME. Until recently they had the best fuel (100LL) prices around and great service. However, on a recent flight (July) I checked fuel prices on AirNav and found that AirFlyte was underselling them by $.05. I decided to go to Five Star anyway out of loyalty and respect for the service they had provided me in the past. I filled my tanks but when I went to pay, the price was $.40 per gallon more than advertised. They told me that it had just changed that morning. I explained why I had chosen them over AirFlyte and asked if they could match their price from the day before. They would not. Just to double check, I called AirFlyte to see if they had raised their prices - they had not. So while I was willing to spend $.05 more per gallon out of loyalty, I ended up spending $.45 more. Worse than the price difference, however, was the lack of consideration for my loyalty. I'm headed to AirFlyte.

We did our recreational dinner flight to BAF..15 people and 4 airplanes from FRG. The restaurant has taken service and food up several notches. I suggest to anyone who hasn't been here for a while to go back and revisit. Exceptionally good airport restaurant. And Five Star always does its best to provide low fuel prices.

I have had good experiences with Five Star in the past. However, on a long trip on Christmas Eve, we landed for fuel shortly before 5 p.M. There was nobody around, although the lights were on. There was no advance information or even a sign on the door to indicate that they would be closed. We were nearly stuck, and would have been if I hadn't been able to access AirNav from my iPhone and find self-serve just a few miles away in Northampton (7B2). Disappointing.

Flew in for the Toys for Tots event. Great service on the ramp. Was met, parked and fueled while getting breakfast in the terminal. Will return for the $100 hamburger.
