My wife and I flew to Barnes and parked at Rectrix on March 23, 2013, in the late afternoon to have dinner at the Runway Restaurant. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed. While Tom was fueling our plane, he offered the crew car to try another place to eat which we did. Tom was very efficient and courteous. We have used this FBO numerous times in the past when it was AirFlyte and always seemed to have very good service. Rectrix just purchased AirFlyte and I hope they continue the great service even though they are a multi facility FBO chain. That personal touch is so important.

I used AirFlyte when I flew up to Barnes to take my wife to Equine Affair at the Eastern States Exposition. Everyone around there calls it The Big E. Dominic treated my Piper J-3 great and us great. He arranged for a rental car to be there and took care of all the paperwork. When we got back, the airplane was topped off and tied down. He had some towels and spray for the windshield and because we had to make an unexpected pit stop on the way up, we only took 4.9 gallons. I will definitely use them again. Next time, I promise to buy more gas, but a J3 only holds 12. Thank you.

Dropped into AirFlyte on the way south to Sun 'n Fun for Customs and gas. Everything from the line guy directing us, the very friendly Customs Officer, the excellent gas price, and restaurant attached to the FBO was first class. This will be our stop in future...THANKS AirFlyte for a great experience.

Excellent FBO. I have stopped by twice and each time someone is right out at the AirFlyte ramp to marshal me to a spot. I topped off to take advantage of the very good price for 100LL full service. The second time I was going to the restaurant and had them top it off while we ate. No fees.

Great FBO, very friendly and willing to go the extra mile for anyone. Accommodated me with no notice for a long weekend stay and even helped arrange a rental car. Will definitely be back!

Very friendly and helpful staff. As we taxied into the parking area, a lineman directed us to our spot, quickly chocked our plane and placed a red carpet out for us to walk on...Quite nice! The lounge is very comfortable and there are spotless restrooms available. Computers are available if you want to do some checking on weather or whatever. The FBO staff is wonderful there and even has a crew car for your use if you want to go to town or get to a nearby hotel. The restaurant (Runway at Barnes) is connected right to the FBO and is very good. The restaurant service was excellent, the staff very friendly, the food outstanding and all in a clean modern setting with a great view of the airplanes coming and going. In all, KBAF is a wonderful place to stop for fuel, food, restrooms, and a very welcoming staff. I could not recommend them more highly.

A friend and I flew into BAF from LWM to try out the restaurant. Tower was great directing us to it, and I was surprised (night time, about 17:00 local) to find a marshaller waiting for us. I was chocked, and surprised to have a red carpet rolled out as I exited my 172. The food was great, good price and great view of the field and I'd recommend it as well. Upon departure, the lineman (I forget his name) pulled chocks, and gave us some tips for the local area. We were treated like we were in a Citation, if you stop in at BAF, these guys are where you wanna go.

Flew in Friday 10/28 before the Great Halloween Snowstorm, intending to depart Sunday. Attempted to get a hangar for my C172 but all the jets were hogging the space, go figure! Ted was on duty and did what he could but it was fruitless. When I returned to remove snow off my wings & tail Monday AM, the bright sunshine had done the work for me...But I was blocked in by mounds of snow they had piled around and in front of my plane. Within minutes they had a huge Payloader clearing a path for me and Kevin the FBO Manager helped us pull my steed into the sun more to warm the cockpit and finish drying her off. Given the circumstances, (no power or phones), the whole team did a marvelous job.

Stopped for a quick (and cheap) top off and lunch. Took the crew car down the road for Subway and were on our way. A good place for a break.
