I have used this fine airport for a fuel stop for a number of years. I am based out of Corpus Christi, and stop there coming and going .The fuel is self service, and I have never had a problem with the prices or the equipment. It is usually the cheapest fuel in a 100-mile radius. Entry to the FBO office is straightforward and simple to do. I am grateful that we have such a wonderful pilot-friendly airport in our area.

I stopped here for the 2nd time. Great place for a quick fuel and go. Only gripe I have about the place is the locked up like Fort Knox. No one around, the sign says to use the NDB name for the door lock!! Why not use the Unicom like everyone else? @trips back out to my plane and I said the heck with it, too much of a hassle just for the restroom. Like I said mentioned earlier, great fuel stop just don't expect anything else.

I love the fact that the fuel prices are included in the AWOS message. Why doesn't every airport do the same? Great place to stop on the way back from the Gulf coast. Easy in and out and great fuel prices.
