I am a regular customer at BEA. I like the price, the facilities, and the warm, friendly people I get to see when I go there from my base at KCRP.

I stopped in to KBEA on Sunday, 6/17, and have only positive comments to report on this airport, FBO and staff. The FBO has nice facilities with a flight-planning computer linked via dial-up to DUATS. The self-serve fuel price is very attractive. There is also a courtesy car available. The FBO Manager, Tim, was extremely helpful and friendly, and even drove his personal vehicle into Beeville to pick my two passengers and I up to return to the airport later in the day. Thank you for all your help, Tim! I highly recommend this airport to everyone.

Do not be freaked out by the "airport is closed" NOTAM. The government is slooowwwllyy replacing the runway lights, which worked just fine before they ripped them out. Call the phone number in advance and land during daylight hours to get the best SS price in Texas. Bathrooms available and friendly local pilots operating as an airport management group. Hopefully construction will be completed soon.

Yes, the avgas price is really just $2.95/gal! You won't find cheaper in the area. Nice quiet little airport with nice amenities. Stop by and see for yourself.

Stopped in on 5/20 for a short visit. Tim Fitch was extremely hospitable and let us use the courtesy car. They had a little fly-in with food. Definitely stop in for fuel and a friendly visit.

We stopped here in our Caravan for the fuel price. Airport and facilities are good, but very quiet. Call ahead and someone will meet you if you need help. Good fuel pumps at very good prices. We will stop here again to load up on Jet A.
