The admin staff at Wings Aloft changed a few months ago and it's amazing what a difference it has made to my flying experiences. Now I see familar, smiling faces when I come in. They are helpful, smart and most important: they seem to enjoy being at work! I never want to feel like a burden when I approach the front desk, and now I never do. The Cirrus rocks too!

The billing statements at Wings Aloft are very confusing and that makes it easy for them to over-charge you. You pay a monthly fee but get very little for it. The seminars they tout often don't happen because they don't get enough people signed up and they aren't much more than someone reading slides. They do have some fun fly outs though. And the Halloween party is raging bash, open bar and live band. The men dress in drag.

I had my first flight at Wings Aloft years ago and the pilot, Chad, was awesome! He and everyone else at Wings are always welcoming and courteous to their customers, members or needing a check ride or whatever it is. I did some of my instruction with Avian, but with a switch of a plane back to KPWT from S43 I needed to find a flight school more locally in Seattle and Wings was the way to go. As a student pilot it is hard to find a better place that works with you, and individual and your buget. I always have had a great maintained aircraft with fuel always fuel to the tabs. The flight program is amazing and I recomend Wings Aloft at KBFI and Avian at KPWT to any student pilot. No matter what instructor you get they are always going to be great and proud to teach you to fly and love to fly!
