Self-service worked as advertised with a $70+ savings. Because of FBO animosity mentioned by others, call ahead to make sure the airport manager's office has the ramp doors unlocked for access to free bathrooms and the terminal located Subway Shop. Great place, clean bathrooms, can briefly park a few steps from the terminal, quick turn, etc - - Will stop again!

Appreciated price. Didn't appreciate this airport's ongoing war between fuel sources. Was greeted by the following sign: "NOTICE: THE SELF SERVICE PUMP DOESN'T BELONG TO MTN. HOME FLIGHT SERVICE (FBO). . . NO RESTROOMS OR FACILITIES AVAILABLE". My wife had difficulty getting to the Subway. Somebody please deal with this crap!

Great fuel prices - thank you. One pet peeve I have with all self-serve fueling is the low preauthorization on the credit card. I fly a Cessna 340 and each fill up is usually about 140 gallons. This requires three trips down the ladder and over to the credit card machine to authorize another $200. Why not preauthorize more?

I stopped for fuel at the self-serve pump because of--what else--the low price. And naturally I went to FBO to use the restrooms, but of course they have signs all over saying they want $10 to use their restrooms if you don't buy their fuel. They didn't say anything to me, but to placate them I bought a couple bags of chips and a couple quarts of oil. When I got back to my plane the airport manager drove by and offered a ride to the Subway sandwich shop inside the commercial terminal. He was very friendly. It sounds like he was new to the job, and already had two big problems to deal with. First, most private pilots weren't recognizing the commercial terminal as such and weren't realizing the area around it is restricted. Second, he was trying to deal with the little war between the self-serve pump owner and the FBO. Good luck Scotty, I hope you get these things resolved!

I was on my back from East St. Louis and stopped for fuel in Baxter County, the prices were great, but the FBO was going to charge me $10.00 to use the restroom because I was using SS. I was having none of this, so needless to say I used the restroom and got great fuel prices! Rock on BPK!

No bathroom facilities! And FBO, no relationship to the self-serve fuel, doesn't want self serve patrons using their facilities! Terminal is for commercial service. And even though no commercial service at this airport, not accessible to GA.

Stopped for fuel 8/13/07. If you use the self-service pump at the NE end of the ramp, this is an independent operation, and there are NO public bathroom or rest facilities currently available on the airport I could find. The FBO just down the ramp will tell you not to use their facilities or enter their building unless you do business with them. If you are transient and need anything other than fuel at a reasonable price, try 42A or TKX.

I landed at Ozark Regional after flying from NC on my way to AZ. I stopped as a result of the posted fuel prices. I did not realize upon landing that the SS facility did not belong to the FBO. We tried to use the SS facility but something was wrong with the equipment. We call the number listed and a nice individual came out and could not get it to work. We did see the sign listed in the FBO charging 10.00 to use the facilities. Having owned an FBO, I understand that fuel sales are required to pay the overhead and maintain the facilities. The FBO was nice when I asked them to fuel my aircraft. They towed it from the SS and serviced the aircraft. Quite a difference in price though.

Price war, bad politics, self serve equipment top notch, FBO on field (Mountain Home) attempted to charge for use of entry to walk around to only local eatery (Subway Sandwich Shop) and were rude, with signs posted requiring any use of their facilities would be charged $10.00, refused to explain how to get back on field (terminal is locked up and fenced completely, no pass though to eatery located in front corner of same building) without using their facility, would not use this airport again because of rudeness and behavior of FBO employees apparently controlling the field.

Cheap gas and a nice facility, what more can you ask for?

Arrived and departed on an IFR flight plan. Airport is located where you can make a quick and easy stop. Excellent fuel prices. Had some difficulty finding a restroom after the 4-hour flight. However, would stop here again.
