The facilities there are among the best I have experienced and the staff/owners, David and Richard Manning and their lineman Joshua, were very helpful and demonstrated the timeless grace of true southern gentleman. When I was questioning whether or not to keep going in marginal weather back to Virginia, the brother's made my decision easy. I came out of the well equipped weather briefing and flight planning room to find they had a relationship with a local hotel that would pick me up and bring me back in the morning. They had a prearranged discount and all I had to do was say, I'm staying and it was done.

Great place to stop flying up and down the coast. Happened to be just away from the coastal fog, AWOS, an 8000' strip, AND an ILS. Great "over the top" service, went out of their way to get our fuel quickly even though I told them no hurry, and the price was more than competitive for FS. Will definitely stop again on our way to/from FL, nice job guys.

Great alternate to SSI when the fog rolls in, ILS and great service as well as a good price on fuel.

Stopped on the way back from S. Florida. Very friendly and fast staff. Total TAT was 15 mins with top off and bio break. As good as my last visit. I'll be back.

We stopped here in the way to Miami and in the way back to Maryland. The fuel prices were reasonable and we had prompt service. They offered the courtesy car to us. We chose to walk to the passenger terminal to grab a very nice lunch. I will return in my next trip.

Stopped for fuel on 4 August 2010. Quick, efficient service, good facilities, and lower than average price for 100LL. Recommend it strongly.

I visited this facility on 02/24/10 while on a "medical related" charter flight. We were on the ground for about 4 to 5 hours and found the staff to be very friendly and did not charge us for a "late departure" for waiting for us to depart after their normal business hours. I purchased jet-A and found the price to be very reasonable and service to be quick and efficient. My thanks also to the airport based fire department personnel that escorts the ambulance on to the tarmac for our arrival and departure.

I stopped here yesterday, September 28, 2009 on a flight from Winston-Salem to Vero Beach. We picked BQK for a quick bathroom break and refueling stop. GLYNCO-MANNING AVIATION is a first-class operation. The full-service fuel price was $3.92 a gallon! Cheaper than anyone else’s self-serve prices along the route. The personnel could not have been more friendly and helpful. In fact, they were somewhat disappointed that we turned down their offer of a courtesy car to go get lunch. Facilities were clean and the staff professional. There is a break room for pilots and passengers with a snack machine and drinks. The airport itself is a former A-10 base with an 8000-foot runway. Although uncontrolled, Jax Center is reachable on the ground for clearance in IFR conditions. If the need or conditions cause me to stop between Savannah and Jacksonville, rest assured that Golden Isles will be my first choice.

Manning Aviation is a first class operation. Very nice facility with a nice pilots lounge, free WII FI, and very friendly staff. We stopped here to and from and will return in the future.

A nice place to stop. Hertz rental car was waiting on the ramp. 100 gallons of avgas was discounted.
