Planned a fuel stop there en route from 3D2 to SPI due to their fuel price. Arrived after hours and had no problem with self service system, but the position and ramp location made it awkward to taxi in and out of position, so you may have to do some pushing and pulling (which I can do to save some money). The after-hours access to the FBO restrooms also saved us from an ordeal when my son got an emergency call to nature minutes before landing, a very welcome feature which more FBO's should adopt or design.

Stopped in for fuel today at sunset on our way from KSAW as we fought a 25 to 30 knot headwind. Self-Serve fuel was great, and at a fantastic price. The sign by the fuel pump pointed us to the terminal building/restrooms and provided the secret code to get in. My wife thanks you.

Stopped in August 3-6, self-serve fuel worked great for me, and at a good price! Plenty of tie-down space available. Nice terminal building with computer weather access.

Self serve pump worked fine. Terminal did not print out receipt, however.

An unplanned fuel stop here was great for fuel, poor for restroom access on a Saturday (and now I know how to get in next time, thanks to the other comments). I'd suggest they put the combination for the door at the fuel pump. Nice airport, but I'm puzzled by the FBO's absence on weekends. Isn't that when the place is likely to be busy?

No one was there on Saturday or Sunday. A sign on the door giving the code to get restroom access would be nice. (I see it from other postings now.) Payless Car Rental provided great service. We called them just before take off, they met us at the plane with the car and contract, and we were on our way in 1 minute flat at a reasonable price.

Always enjoy stopping here. Nice facilities and reasonable fuel prices (relatively). The aircraft ground wire spool needs some attention though. Safety Item!

SS is very reasonable. One time there was a 4-plane wait for the pump.

I stopped here on Oct 29th and it was just as everyone has described: Nobody seemed to be around. Great price on fuel with easy access. I used the Unicom freq (skip "0") to get into the FBO (right by fuel) to use the washroom and call FSS. A few other folks stopped for the cheap fuel as well. FSS told me that you could get a void clearance by clicking Unicom 7 times which would cause a land line to call FSS who would then call you on the Unicom freq. I didn't try this though. I would definitely stop here again.

Great savings on self serve fuel 24 hrs.
