On 9-2-07 pulled into fuel area where a lady directed us where to park. She drove a gas truck to plane, gas was $4.29, she informed me if I fueled the plane there would be a 10 cent discount and if I paid cash or by check another 10 cent discount ($4.09). Went to her office to pay and were greeting by 4 cats and a sleeping dog. We paid by check, and then she checked weather for us by her computer. We could see thunderstorms moving easterly where we intended to fly. We changed our plans and flew west around the bad weather. If I return to West Yellowstone again I will make it a point to stop here for gas. P.S. The lady offered us a courtesy car if we wanted to go into town for lunch!!

The Campbell's are great people that help keep Gen. Aviation alive in parts of the country that are vital to the usefulness of our airplanes. I called Sharon several days in advance of my trip. She was polite, helpful, and informative too as I planned my first flight into Burley and tied-down for a few days while visiting relatives. There's no question I'll be back, many times over. Advice: Bring cash or checkbook to save on discounted Avgas, and perhaps call ahead so they know you're coming. I came in on the early evening of July 3 and she had closed up a little early that day (I can't blame her) so nobody was around. Thankfully I was staying and didn't need Avgas (yet--and there is *no* self-serve pump at BYI). This is a "little" airport, so don't expect 24-hour service 7-days a week. If you need to stop for Avgas at Midnight on a Saturday...Go to nearby Twin Falls. Otherwise, this is a pleasant place for a stop.

Made a fuel stop in my Cirrus on my way from Portland, OR to Denver. The lady informed me that she was out of fuel and apologized. The other FBO had fuel at $4.22 but no car to go into town to eat. The nice people at Campbell's gave us their car even though we couldn’t buy gas from them, and recommended a great restaurant (Stevo's) in town. Thanks for the help!

Stopped on the way and return from West Yellowstone with our antique airplane, great service, and fine people. Quick service from friendly people. We'll stop again!

If you transit BYI on a weekend, this is where you refuel. But, the nice lady parked us, drove the fuel truck to the airplane, provided a ladder, handed me the fuel hose, and discounted the purchase. She also offered another discount if I paid by check. I did! Twenty-minute fuel stop. Outstanding service, and friendly digs and cats, we'll visit again!

Very friendly! Gas was $4.25 but we pumped it ourselves out of the truck and paid with check instead of credit card so they bumped it down to $4.10. Very laid-back small-town style.
