I grew up in a building 50 yards from the FBO when my dad taught at the academy in the 1960's. It was a life long dream to become a pilot and fly into the airport at Camden. I've been a pilot for two years now and made multiple trips to Camden. Dale Thompson at the FBO has always provided excellent service and friendship. If you are in the area don't hesitate to stop in and see Dale. Take a tour around the campus and even take a lap around the track that my dad built. The airport itself is also a gem with a history of flight training for WWII pilots.

My wife and I in our RV-8 stopped in for fuel and a quick turn trying to outrun some weather. The lineman heard us call on his way out and stayed to fuel us up. Very nice airport and very friendly!

Stopped in for just a few minutes to use the restroom, was charged $10. I looked in the AFD, etc. Afterwards to see if it mentioned a fee, and nowhere I looked could I find anything about a landing/facility fee. Was very disappointed.

Had to make a stop due to generator problem. Frank and the rest of the maintenance guy's are a pure class act! They went out of their way to get me up and running. Dale with the FBO, great guy, went out of his way to help anyway he could. Will stop in again and already planning to take my vtail back for maintenance.

We were in Camden on November 27th for two days. We could not ask for better service. Dale Thompson attended to our every need. The facility is very well maintained and the jet fuel price was great. See you next time.
