Was on my decent and called out on CTAF only to find out he was out of gas--all gas. That's apparently what happens when you run a good airport with good service and very good fuel prices. Word gets out, pilots come, and you have more airplanes than you have airplane gas. Disappointed that I couldn't spend time there, but every pilot I talked with from neighboring airports have nothing but praise for CNH. I'll be happy to check them out next trip out this way.

This airport offers access to good ski resorts, cheap fuel, an instrument approach, nearby rental cars from Enterprise, plugs for sump heaters, good snow removal and a very willing bunch of aviation lovers that help out because they like aviation rather than are on the payroll. Highly recommend this airport.

Stopped at KCNH on 3.24.07. Gas prices lowest have seen! Nice Airport!!

Flew into this wonderful "laid back" facility on Wednesday August 30, 2006. The GENTLEMAN that met my daughter and I was great. He gave us a ride, assisted in the instruction and steps for the self-serve fuel and in general, could not have been more helpful.

This is a great airport with first rate maintenance by two very experienced mechanics who will not take advantage of transients. It is attended during the week during normal working hours. On weekends, there are almost always people around. It is very popular as a fuel stop for locals with 24 hour self-serve reasonably priced fuel. Runway 11 has a long displaced threshold and it is seldom used as the winds seldom favor it. The old, closed cross runway is NOT useable because there are some obstructions, including Runway 29-11 landing lights.

A great airport with a top noch maintenance facility.
