My partner and I landed at CRQ on 8/28/08 in Cessna 172 42RL. I selected Western as our FBO for local services and boy I'm glad I did. From the time we taxied to a tie down position to the time of departure later in the afternoon, the service we received was absolutely superb! The ops-counter and ground crew were very helpful, courteous and upbeat. From our viewpoint, Western Flight SERVICES is perfectly named!

The service at Western Air was terrific! All employees we met--line crew and ops desk--were very prompt, courteous, professional, and helpful. I recommend staying at Western Air when visiting Palomar.

Nice staff, I was told there were no tie downs on the entire field, not good for my c180. After a fill, charged $15/night.

I stopped in to buy or use some window cleaner. After standing at the desk for 15 minutes the line guy calls the desk gal on the radio to tell her he can't find any. Little did he know I could see him in the back room and he never even tried to find any. If you stop at CRQ find another FBO if you want any service.

Not my favorite, the car I asked them to reserve never showed up (2 hours late) however they did cancel the Hertz and get an Avis. Upon my return the plane was not fueled as requested and I had to wait 30+ minutes for them to move and fuel, then another 15 minutes while I waited for a woman behind the desk to finish a personal phone call about going out to dinner before she could run my credit card. There was another lady there however she didn't know how to run the card!!!! The final straw was the price, they billed $5.44/gallon and their guaranteed price was $5.05. All in all there were plenty of friendly staff however, they were not too interested in providing good customer service.

Western Flight located on SE side of field is a GA friendly FBO. Good bathrooms and pilot briefing room. Linesmen were attentive and helpful with fuel and air into tires. Overnight parking fee waived with fuel purchase. Provided discount for using Shell aviation credit card. They do not have charts, but Denise volunteered to drive me over to a pilot shop on west side of field to purchase approach plates.

If you plan on using Western Flight just understand fuel prices are decent, service marginal and be prepared to park you own airplane unless you are driving a jet.... And that means bring your own tow bar apparently. Next time I'll pay the .20 cents more and go to Jetsource. Charged more for overnight fees than quoted on the phone and did not waive any of them with fuel purchase. Manager said NEXT time I come in she would waive all overnight fees since line service was bad, discrepancy on fuel order and overall disinterested service. NEXT time I will be somewhere else!!!!

Pretty decent service although the place was somewhat busy. Self serve fuel price very reasonable but requires crossing runway to the north side - Jepp airport plate not up-to-date and does not depict northside taxiways. Two self-serve pumps available. Fuel dispensed rather slowly though.

I parked overnight and with the purchase of fuel, no other fees. FBO is very clean (including bathrooms, per my wife!!) Good trip planning room.

Visited here on 5-3-07. Came in on our humble 182. Parking was no issue; line crew showed us exactly where to go and got us tied down no problem. Staff lent us a crew car for a quick lunch down the street. Plane was fueled as requested and ready to go as soon as we got back. FBO is well kept and comfortable. Great place will make this our stop when back in the area.

April 18-21 2007. Very accommodating and friendly. Hangar space and rental cars readily available. Fuel prices are fair.

November 3, 2006 - I flew in with a friend to take care of some business. We were only there for a few hours but Western Flight went out of their way to accommodate our visit. In particular, Toni and Amanda were extremely professional and helpful. They treated us like VIPs and loaned us a courtesy car for our visit even though we didn't need any fuel. The entire staff was top notch and I would definitely use their services again. Thanks Western Flight for making our trip enjoyable.

Received prompt parking guidance and rental car was brought to plane. Asked the line guy if I put in fuel order with him or the desk. Said he would take care of it. Stopped in the office, signed in and told them I had put in fuel order with line guys. Showed up the next day to leave and pay for fuel. Did not get fueled. Line guy said he would immediately take care of it. 20 minutes later, still no fuel. Policy is NOT to give guaranteed fuel price unless you ask for it. Staff was very nice even though I gave them grief for not fueling. I would use them again but make sure I'm fueled before going to airport.

Western Flight again met all of our expectations for a first class FBO. We arrived in a 1 month old Citation CJ2+ and we had Rock-Star Parking, rental cars at the airplane and first class line service. The ladies in the office are competent and efficient. Western Flight is our favorite FBO for Southern California! All that combined with fair pricing, why go anywhere else!

There are a lot of choices when you fly into this airport, but the level of service Western Flight provided was exemplary. I would recommend anyone coming into Palomar plan on using Western Flight for all his or her needs on the ground. The staff was courteous and accommodating. Services included a rental car, which was waiting for me, hotel reservations, aircraft parking and fuel. Not many FBO's offer this level of service.

Stopped at Western Flight to drop off a passenger, get relief! and fuel. Yes, the parking was packed but we found a place for our C182 with no problem. The staff was very helpful and courteous. Once mentioned, we were charged the fuel price published on AirNav.Com. Remember to ask. We'll stop in again.

Well, thought I would give them a try again because of the fuel cost difference over Jetsource. However, when I pulled up to their line the guy aggressively pointed towards a completely packed tie down area. Personally, I will pay a little more for fuel to be able to pull up on the line to unload, like at Jetsource. There was no space constraint on there line either. I do not buy that much fuel when I stop (80 or so gal.), but I will not ever try them again, and I won't be giving them my turboprop business either. Do yourself a favor and go to Jetsource!

Laurel was on the ball and went the extra mile to accommodate some last minute changes and reservations for rental cars and hotels. The fuel price on site is higher than on the web so you have to make sure they honor it, which they did for us. Management needs to either update prices regularly or stop playing games. Other than that small annoyance, the service was great and the prices were outstanding! We'll definitely be back to Western Flight. Great job Laurel!

i was in Western today with my student and we were looking for lunch. The restaurant had been closed so they called to check if the nearby deli was open, it wasn't (sunday) so they loaned us their van for the afternoon. They girls at the desk were really great and service was top notch!! encore!! and to top it off, they didn't charge us a dime and had fresh cookies out. This is what ALL FBO's should aspire to.

Arrived on Sept 2nd and parked for 3 nights, departed on Monday Sept 5th. Service was exceptional, linesmen were great, fast, efficient. Checkout was no hassle again and they made every effort to make sure we were comfortable. Excellent FBO!!!
