Outstanding (local?) FBO. Called a couple of times to deal with arrangements and clarify the local NOTAM situation - phone always answered on one ring by a helpful and knowledgeable person. Arrived (in my P210) and was marshaled to right in front of my waiting (and warmed up) rental car - linemen could not possibly have been more friendly or helpful. One of the best FBO experiences I have ever had, and I routinely stop at the "big boy" FBO's like Million Air.

Just a quick note to say "thank you!" to the staff at Western Flight Services for the superb service we received on March 17, 2011. My fellow pilot (Bill Holbrow) and myself arrived Thu a.M. In N181RJ for a one day business meeting close by in San Marcos. We were provided excellent ground transportation support, aircraft refueling, and courtesy at each step. Special recognition goes to Maria Flanders at the counter for her "extra mile" assistance. Kudos to Monica Brown, the FBO Manager and all the team at Western Flight Services! Western Flight was great. We were there for three days. Very professional. This is highly structured, busy airspace.

On October 8, 2010, after I landed at CRQ, a TFR was established due to a nearby law enforcement action which shutdown the airport. Several other pilots were in the same situation and Western Flight Services was a safe haven to wait out the TFR. The line service staff and customer service reps were right on top of the situation. They handled the situation well, including replacing the quickly depleted cookies and keeping all the pilots updated on the status of the TFR. Nice job Western Flight Services!

I first called the different FBO's on the field to check ramp fees, and fuel prices. Western Flight had the best customer service over the phone and is a main point on why they got my business. The CSR told me that they would waive ramp fees with any fuel purchase (no minimum), and also was told that if I find a better fuel price they would work with me. Upon arrival the CSR coordinated a car, which was sent for my passenger to meet us on the ramp. Now from a pilots perspective, they have a nice building, small but great pilot lounge with very comfortable lazy boy type chairs, cable TV, the whole 9 yards... When it came time to pay for the fuel, the CSR was even able to get me a discount on the fuel (I can't remember if it was my AOPA membership), but I remember getting a discount. Lineservice was awesome.

Mooney M20C, Great Service, arrived and the ground crew parked me next to my running rental car, put out the red carpet helped with the bags, just excellent service. I left my plane for the weekend, it was out and fueled and ready for me when I came back ready to leave. Really pleasant easy experience.... I'll be back..

No problems with Western. Great service. Granted, my demands were few, but the line staff was efficient and helpful, price was good, rental car was there and the office staff was pleasant. If I go back to Palomar I'm stopping at Western.

Western is a great FBO, very efficient and they have taken good care of us on several occasions. The prices have been reasonable and the service excellent. The oxygen service is a little more than I have paid elsewhere, but parking and fuel seem reasonable.

What great people at Western Flight Services! We went for an afternoon flight and ended up at Palomar with no plans and no exceptions. Walked into Western to inquire about the restaurant and they practically insisted we take the crew car downtown or even into San Diego for the remainder of the day. We spent a few hours in Carlsbad...Never been there before.... Beautiful town. Good people at Western and we're looking forward to coming back.

Western has hooked me several times when I fly in to pick up folks. My first flight with my twin girls was made even more special when they parked us right out front and even valet our car after letting us drive right up to the plane, just like we had a Jet. The flight was awesome and the baby girls slept the whole way to Palm Springs - thanks Chris - guess I don't have to sell the plane ;)

Flew into CRQ for my first time, excellent airport and restaurant. Western Flight was top notch. Jeremy the line tech went out of his way to make the experience first class providing my single engine Cessna and me with everything I needed even when the ramp was full of jets. Will definitely return to Western on my next trip into CRQ!

Stayed overnight with Western this weekend and couldn't be more pleased with their service. 5 star service from the moment we pulled onto their ramp. Flew in a single engine Piper, not a biz jet, and was still treated like family. When the local hotel didn't have their act together with their shuttle service, Western took us right over with no delay, even picked us up the next day. Plane was ready to go for a speedy departure, and fuel was competitive. Great full service FBO that I will visit again my next time into CRQ. Thanks Western!

Flew in on Christmas Day in a C172, and the line staff was there to marshal us in right up front. The entire staff was friendly. There was a small overnight fee. Their pilot lounge was very comfortably set up with lazy boys and a large TV with Satellite. The next morning they had our plane in front on the ramp again, next to a G4, obviously they had no problem accommodating our small aircraft. I would recommend Western, and will return in the future.

We stopped at Western Flight and our Mirage spent one night there this past weekend. They were super.....yet another world class FBO in SOCAL. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Also, the airport, runway and controllers were all excellent; KCRQ is a first rate airport!

Superb service for a one-fan flyer. Not one but two linemen parked me, and the plane was pulled up in front ready to go within 5 minutes of my return to the FBO two days later. Super friendly and helpful desk staff. AOPA fuel discount offered without my asking. Excellent pilot lounge with good workspace (and cookies). Tiedown fee waved for a modest fuel purchase. Western offered all the signs of an FBO who wanted me back, and I'll definitely be back.

A fantastic FBO! Flew in with a lock/door problem and WF had a locksmith standing by when we pulled in; rental car was waiting and they found a lower-priced car (without even asking); service was outstanding and the small service-issue encountered was resolved immediately, pleasantly, and professionally. While everything at CRQ is expensive, WF is well worth it and you won't be disappointed. That said, be careful to write down clearances carefully - they are confusing at this airport since they always differ from the published Departure Procedures in SW-3. Ask for clarification and the specific routing(s), as the airspace is busy and intricate.

I just flew in to Palomar with a few friends for dinner and parked with Western Flight. I called ahead and arranged a crew car and they were happy to provide it. They have a nice facility with great service, and treated our 172 like it was a Gulfstream. Well worth the $20 ramp fee.

WFS provided my colleague and me with excellent service on 5/21/09. They took great care of N6393C, topped the tanks, and waived the parking fee. Our rental car was waiting for us at the tie down location. We returned in the afternoon after our APCO business meeting, and everything was ready for departure. Big thanks go to Kathy Wisniewski (FBO Mgr.), Jessica Sheridan, and Chris Cummings for their assistance in making necessary arrangements, and for their superb customer service at the counter. Western Flight SERVICES is the place to go at KCRQ.

Stopped in there today and the service was fantastic. One of the cheaper places to fill up on the coast. The ladies behind the desk were very friendly and helpful. They had freshly made cookies and iced tea complimentary. They even gave us a couple of putters to put around on their putting green. Top notch FBO!! Highly recommend for a place to stop and fill up!!

Stopped at Western Flight on our way to the Air Races in SD this last weekend. The service was remarkable. Very friendly staff organized a rental for us last minute and met us on the ramp with it so we could load our bags with no fuss. The young lady at the desk was over the top friendly and is the type of person that you would come back to see again and again. Full of info, had all the answers, service with a smile, top notch all the way. Briefing room was nice, overall amenities were good. Ramp fee is waived if you buy fuel. Everything went smooth and we will definitely be back.
