Stopped by for fuel Wednesday evening and was pleased to find the self serve working well and competively priced! Good lighting around the pump makes fueling after dark less of a hassle.

We stopped at CTJ on 2-19-08 for an overnight stay on business. Friendly, hard-working linemen took care of everything. They called Enterprise to get a rental car for us and took care of our fueling quickly and efficiently the next morning. Make CTY your next fuel stop.

Hangar One on the field has closed but the airport authority has taken over fueling operations. Right now there is no fuel trucks, you have to park at the farm, but fuel prices have dropped one dollar since takeover. It is a very nice field.

Hanger One is no more, at least according to the sign on the door today, 12/1/07. Currently, the Airport Authority is running the FBO. Maybe they will treat GA better, but give them time.

Flew in on 8/19/07 and field was a ghost town. Needed fuel but could not find anybody around. Talked to a local and he said all fuel trucks were repossessed and fuel was $5.53 per gallon. Flew over to Pell City next day and purchased fuel for $4.25. Would not recommend anybody stop here. I think the FBO is about out of business.

We landed our Skyhawk at 1805 only to find the place was a ghost town. No fuel available and prices weren't very good anyway. Do not recommend planning a stop here.

The price of fuel is very high for the area. Not a good fuel stop. Service OK.

Flew in again in our PC12, as usual the people here are friendly and helpful. The young woman behind the desk (Rachel?) was very friendly and always had a smile on her face along with the two line guys. They have their own rental cars but be sure to call ahead. Much better than using Enterprise. Gas is moderately prices for the area. Around 4.70 per gallon, the service justifies the cost at least. Thanks again guys for all the help!

I felt like I got totally RIPPED OFF here. The FBO is fairly nice, and the young people behind the counter were cordial, if not particularly helpful. I was stopping over for fuel and lunch on the way back north from FL, and asked about a courtesy car. They said sure, and it's free if you get $100 worth of gas. Turns out they want you to buy 100 GALLONS of gas, so my $250 for 60 gallons of 100LL ($4.00/gal!!) wasn't good enough to avoid a $20 "lunch" fee to use their courtesy car for 45 minutes. This was on a Sunday in instrument conditions (not busy). My plane only carries 94 gallons of gas, so I guess I'll never get a free courtesy car from them (sure did in Athens on my way down, where they only charged me $3.79/gal).
