The fuel price says it all. I just paid 5.50 / gal for Jet A. The staff if friendly and helpful if you happen to see them. Not a lot here, but they've recently added satellite TV, and there is an honor bar for drinks and snacks. Don't be surprised if you are greeted by the airport dog. She's very friendly and loves getting her belly rubbed. Great little stop.

Flew a corporate flight into CVK. Nice runway... Quite an upslope runway 4. Data indicates a 48-foot difference between runway 4/22 thresholds. Most of the slope takes place in the middle or the runway so it is more pronounced than if the slope took place over the length of the runway. Needed Jet A before departure. Self serve works. The pump printed a receipt. Nice airport.

Nice little field, GREAT fuel prices. Make sure you put the brakes on before fueling, there is a slope!

Stopped at Ash Flat on the way home to Philly from Gaston’s. You CANNOT beat the fuel price here. $3.10 as advertised. Fueling is by self-service credit card machine. Nice long Runway 4 slopes up hill but is not a problem because it’s so long. There are some folks there but for the most part it seems unattended. Small lounge, bathrooms and weather planning are all available, although it was a strange weather program hard to figure out. No food or snacks available. Phone is available to call FSS. BTW Jonesboro FSS is the best I have ever dealt with great folks.
